Yangzi Petrochemical -BASF Co., Ltd. Phase II reconstruction project supporting 400 tons/hour wastewater reuse unit was completed during the completion of Yangzi Petrochemical Water Plant. As the second phase of Yangba's oil refining and transformation project, the project was funded by Yangba Company. The external drainage of the Yangzi Petrochemical Company's No. 1 Sewage Treatment Plant was used as the water source, and a combination of ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis was adopted. Product water can be used as replenishment for industrial water and circulating water, saving 2 million tons of fresh water each year and reducing the amount of sewage discharged by 2 million tons. After the project is completed, it will be delivered to the Yangzi Petrochemical Plant for operation and management. This is the first set of wastewater reuse equipment built in Yangzi Petrochemical. It is reported that the company will continue to build such projects.
