Axial flow pump principle: Instead of relying on the centrifugal force of the impeller on the liquid, the axial liquid pump delivers the liquid by using the impeller of the rotating impeller to flow the liquid to be transported in the direction of the pump shaft. When the axial-flow pump shaft is driven by the motor to rotate, since the vane has a certain helix angle with the axis of the axial-flow pump shaft, thrust (or lifting force) is generated on the liquid to push the liquid out and discharge along the discharge pipe. This is similar to the operation of the electric fan shown in Figure 2-22 where the air near the front of the fan blades is pushed forward by the blades to allow the air to flow. When the liquid is pushed out, the original position will form a partial vacuum, the outside of the liquid under the action of atmospheric pressure will be sucked along the inlet pipe impeller. As long as the impeller is constantly rotating, axial flow pump can continue to inhale and discharge liquid.
