The explosion-proof explosion-proof structure is to place the circuit and terminal of the instrument in the flameproof housing, the strength of the case is sufficiently large, the clearance of the interface surface of the case is deep enough, and the maximum gap width is sufficiently narrow. Even if such instruments cause sparks due to accidents that cause the internal explosion of the watch case, they will not cause the explosive gas outside the instrument to explode. Flameproof meters are available in Class 1 Class 1 and Class 1 Class 2 locations. When the instrument is installed and maintained normally, it can ensure safety, but it will lose its explosion-proof performance when the shell is uncovered. Therefore, the shell cannot be opened for inspection and adjustment under power-on operation. After the instrument is used for a long period of time, it is difficult to maintain the gap of the explosion-proof case due to wear, and it will gradually lose its explosion-proof performance. Explosion-proof instruments cannot be used in explosive environments with high levels and groups.

Explosion-proof explosion-proof instrument installation and use requirements:

1. The product shell is equipped with a grounding terminal. When using the product, the user should be reliably grounded (if the power supply voltage is greater than 36V, the internal ground must be connected reliably).

2. The installation site should be free of harmful gases that have a corrosive effect on the aluminum alloy.

3. The maximum temperature of the explosion-proof enclosure shall not exceed 1300C.

4. Maintenance and replacement of batteries must be performed in a safe place; maintenance can be performed only when the presence of flammable gas is confirmed at the installation site.

5. When users install, use and maintain the product, they must also comply with the relevant provisions of GB50058-92 “Design Code for Explosion and Fire Hazardous Environment” and “Safety Regulations for Explosion Hazardous Locations of the People’s Republic of China”.

6. When using external power or external signals, the cable is a rubber cable with an outer diameter of Φ8~Φ8.5; if no external power supply and external signal are used, the cable outlet hole must be sealed with a seesaw.

7. Flameproof Type Hazardous area below zone 1 for flammable gas of class II, class B, T4.

II. Installation and use requirements of intrinsically safe explosion-proof meters

The sparks and the temperatures reached in the intrinsically safe circuit under normal and fault conditions do not cause the explosive gas mixture to explode. The normal state refers to the working state of the electrical equipment under the specified design conditions, including normal open and closed circuits. The fault condition refers to short circuit, open circuit, ground fault and power supply fault caused by the accident. Modern intrinsically safe explosion-proof refers to the explosion protection of the entire automation system, such as the DDZ-III electric unit combination meter. The explosion protection system contains both intrinsically safe and non-intrinsically safe circuits. Intrinsically safe circuits are installed in hazardous locations (on site), non-intrinsically safe circuits are installed in non-hazardous locations (control rooms), and explosion proof barriers are used between them to prevent excessive energy from entering hazardous locations. The entire instrument has intrinsically safe explosion-proof performance.

Intrinsically safe explosion-proof instrument installation and use requirements:

1. The product shell is equipped with a grounding terminal, and the user should be reliably grounded when using the product.

2. When using external power supply, it must be matched with the associated equipment (safety barrier) identified by the explosion-proof certification organization, and it can be applied to the corresponding explosive hazardous locations after it constitutes the intrinsically safe explosion-proof system. The shielded cable is used for the connection cable, and the shield layer is grounded at the safe place. The cable parameter distribution is controlled within 0.05uF/1mH.

3. The safety barrier shall be installed in a safe place. The installation and maintenance must comply with the relevant provisions of the safety barrier instruction manual.

4. Users are not free to replace the electrical components in the product.

5. When users install, use and maintain the product, they must also comply with the relevant provisions of GB50058-92 “Design Code for Explosion and Fire Hazardous Environment” and “Safety Regulations for Explosion Hazardous Locations of the People’s Republic of China”.
