January Diesel Engine Production and Sales Decline Nearly Half

In terms of vehicle diesel engines , in January 2012, 23 diesel engine companies included in the statistics of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers completed 240,700 units and 203,600 units respectively. The absolute value of sales fell by nearly half compared with the same period of last year, and production and sales in January. Compared with the same period of last year, the ranks of several light diesel-powered companies, including Anhui Quanchai, Jiangxi Jiangling, Shandong Huayuan Laidong, Weichai Power Yangchai, etc., have all improved, and Anhui Quanchai has also been among the first time. Among the diesel engine enterprises, the only one that maintained growth in the single-monthly production (more than 5,000 units) was Beiqi Foton 1, an increase of only 8.06%; the company had a larger year-on-year decline (more than 40% year-on-year). There are: Weichai Holdings (-65.88%), Dongfeng Motors (-59.21%), China National Heavy Duty Truck (-55.37%), Dongfeng Chaochai (-54.39%), Kunming Yunnei (-48.14%), Shandong Huayuan Lai Dong (-47.45%), FAW Group (-41.79%) and Guangxi Yuchai (-41.33%).
