What is a cut-off valve?

Shut-off valve, also called sectional door, is the most widely used type of valve. Easy to maintain, not only for medium and low pressure, but also for high pressure.

The principle of closure of the shut-off valve is to rely on the pressure of the valve rod so that the sealing surface of the valve flap and the sealing surface of the valve seat fit closely and prevent the flow of the medium.

The cut-off valve can only allow the medium to flow in one direction and has directionality when installed. The structural length of the cut-off valve is greater than the gate valve, and the fluid resistance is large. In long-term operation, the sealing reliability is not strong.
